Ok, I realise advertising plays an important role in keeping these sites going but this is becoming pointless.

I was just trying to reply to a mother who seemed in desperate need of help but couldn't even hit the 'love' button thanks to the half screen ad. Scrolling does not remove the ads. Logging in and out didn't help. Then there are the RHS pop up ads.

Come on MN, there must be a way of securing your ad $ without losing the user experience entirely?

Use the Brave browser. Same question. Same answer. Time after time.

Hello @Dustyblue Would you be able to share a screenshot, or let us know a bit more about the ad (what it was for and where it was appearing on the screen)? That will really help us track down what’s going on.

Ads shouldn’t be blocking key parts of the site like the reply or reaction buttons, so we’d definitely like to take a closer look at this.

I'd never heard of this. Thanks for your reply, if a little snarky.

Thanks, I'll try to do that.
