Editing posts is a nightmare, anyone else?

I can't just tap and get my cursor to go back anymore. I got a new phone, and the problem happened with both phones. Plus it's not in any other app, e.g. Reddit. It's a fairly new problem. Just me? Funnily enough it's not happening with this message. I wonder us it on some message boards only?

Yes. To edit, I have to delete all the way back to the mistake, correct and re-type.

Sorry to hear there's an issue with editing. This is working fine for me on my laptop and iPhone in chrome and safari so I need a bit more information about the circumstances to look in to it further.

Could you let me know:

• what device you are using e.g. iPhone, laptop, android phone
• whether you're using the app or the website
• if you're using the website which browser you're using

It's happening on the android app. It's been raised more than once on this board in the last week or so. An update fixed one issue, but not this other issue.

This has been an issue for days in the Android app. Really annoying!

I find it hit or miss if i can edit at all.

Sometines it takes me back to the post as if to edit but then just asks if i want to post as is or cancel. Then just wants to delete it!

Google pixel 7a here. It's been weird ever since whatever the update we as that acrewed the buttons at the bottom. Android app.
