Request to add a Wee Corner feature to the site

Could we please have a Wee Corner.

If MN'ers discover amazing/interesting articles that may captivate the community, they could post in the "Wee Corner"

Purely, as an example, I offer this about Joshua Bell, a world renowned musician.

The "wee corner" does not have to just relate to music ofc but could cover a gamut of interests which may engage a vast majority of MN

those interesting articles/subjects that any of us may have stumbled upon

Perhaps the "suggested" title may very well be beyond the ken for some.

I do think it'd be quite interesting to have such a board, albeit not called something that could take the proverbial p... 😊

uf my bladder reacts 🤣🤣. What I don't get is why we need yet another 'place' when we already have 'chat' & many many topics? Things that are of 'interest' are far better in relevant topics or if very general. There's chat.

Thats what chat is for.
I'd love to see lots of interesting random stuff come up in active. I think its a lovely idea.

I understand what you mean OP, it’s not that difficult.

BUT after the things I’ve seen here in the past few days, I’m not sure I’d bother. It is like throwing pearls to swine possibly wouldn’t be appreciated here in the right way.

FYI there is a place on Reddit for short videos (20 mins ish) on random topics. I like that place.

Chat covers whatever anyone chooses it to though. If you have something interesting to add, go for it!

I’m in NI and I knew what you meant by a Wee Corner😃 I do think stuff like that is probably better off in Chat though as others have said. Mostly because a lot of the more niche boards just end up being tumbleweed and the people who use them start posting in Chat or AIBU to reach a wider audience anyway. I like knitting and crochet and sometimes dip into the Arts and Crafts board, but it’s quiet in there. If someone asks a craft related question in Chat, it gets far more responses than on the Arts and Crafts board.
