Anyone else getting previous post text auto-filled in next message box?

Does anyone else write something, then post it, and then have the exact post appear on the message section for what is to be their next post? I can't word this properly, but I hope someone can figure out what Im talking about.
It's quite irritating because when I go to write a message later, I have to delete this repeated post first.

Its being going on for months and months and its been reported many times by me and others. Its so annoying

It was a fix for when the site could crash in between clicking post and the page refreshing and a lot of typing was lost. It should clear the buffer after posting.

Ah, "should" that tiny word that can strike fear into the hardiest developers heart ....
