Android app, can't go back and edit text you've already written while posting replies

As I write this as an OP, if I make a typo and want to go back I just tounch my finger on the word I want to change.

But if I try and do that while replying to an existing thread, nothing happens. I can't change the curser position. I know you very recently did an android app update, did it break something?

Thought it was fixed earlier, but no.

Same here. Can't edit or move cursor. Can't see post button beyond a few lines.

Oh I was blaming my phone for this and was coming to terms with the idea of having to fork out for a new one. But maybe I can eke another few months out instead if it's just the MN app gremlins...

This is working now sometimes but not all the time

It's still not working for me also the posts off others and probably me are taking ages to appear 🙄

So the cursor thing has fixed but this seems to have created a new problem where after three lines the whole box disappears and I can't see what I'm typing at all. There's a new thread that recently been made about this issue, possibly linked to trying to fix this one? Whole text box is off my screen at the moment so just hoping I've spelt everything correctly! And cancel that, the cursor issue isn't fixed as a few lines have reappeared but I can't click to edit.

Has got worse!! Now when I post the keyboard covers the whole text box and i am blind to my reply until it is ready to post, when I minimise the keyboard and finally see the gibberish I have written, am so so frustrated by this,

I can type 4 lines now before the send button disappears. But I still can't go back and edit!

I can't see what l am posting, it's gone from bad to worse.

It's all off the top of tscreen for me now! Definitely worse.

Same here but also can't see what I'm typing because it's out of viewat top of screen! Can only see now one line and before I could only write 2 sentences and unable to post. What's going on? It's ridiculous 😒

I can now edit, but the text window is so small I cannot see what I've written?!?!
