Have I moved country without realising?

In the greater scheme of things, this isn’t important. But am slightly perplexed as to why a number of adverts embedded in the middle of threads appear to be German. Have I relocated in my sleep?!

I went through a phase a few years ago of only seeing insurance for American’s on here. I am not American and have never been there. I also do see European adverts in their own languages, but not too often.

Hello @Ijwwm while it is technically possible you've teleported to Germany overnight (please get us a pretzel), it's more likely because sometimes ads are served based on IP location or ad-network availability, and occasionally the system gets that wrong. If it happens again, we'd appreciate it if you could get a screenshot of the ad/s in question as it helps us track them down. Thank you.

I get them in what I thought was Dutch and German but may have just been German? Tbh they're less annoying than English ones because you've no clue what they're on about so they are easier to block out! So keep giving me foreign ads. 😂
