Photos not attaching to posts

Irony: I cannot add a screenshot to show my issue...

Photos aren't attaching to posts. I can click "Add image" but it just gives a timer/loading circle without actually attaching anything. Endlessly.

Have cleared cache, closed down and reopened, etc but it hasn't fixed it.

Using a Pixel 9 Pro, latest software version, accessing the site via Chrome.

Same here, same phone and same browser although I then downloaded another browser and had the same issue.

I reported my post with failed photo upload to MN a few times but they've stopped replying. The last time I reported yesterday I got an automatic reply saying we think you're asking about ad blockers, I replied to say no I'm not but I've had nothing back.

A while back my photos would not post.
I changes the suffix of the file from .JPG to .JPEG
(yes, I know they mean the same thing)
Anyway, I had no problems after that.

I'll email you a screenshot. You can't see much other than the consistent wheel of fortune down at the bottom.

Is anything happening about this?
For one day only I regained the power but now it's gone again and I can't post pictures.

Did you find anything when you looked into this last week?

Hi there @ChristmasStars and others. It looks like this happens when someone tries to upload a photo that exceeds the maximum file size. If you can reduce the size of the image first it should attach ok.
