I’ve become really aware recently of the relentlessness of modding us here. I’m sure there are times that with hindsight you could have made different choices- that’s inevitable. You’ll almost always act too slow or too fast, in most people’s opinions!

So thank you. Thank you for managing the absolute deluge of highly contested opinion that we’re all spewing out here.

I know you’re usually only noticed when people disagree with you. But thank you.

You’re right that moderation is often most visible when people disagree with it, so it’s genuinely appreciated when someone notices the other side of things.
We won’t always get every decision perfectly judged, and we inevitably upset someone at least, oh, 20 times a day... but we do try to be consistent and considered. Thanks again for saying so.
