How can I unsubscribe? I have tried 5 times without success!

OP posts:
Motnight · 13/01/2026 17:33

You can't. It's like Hotel California.

SucksToBeYou · 13/01/2026 17:35

I have also tried many times. Ive given up now and accepted that I will be getting them for the rest of my life. Accept your fate.

FlorenceAndTheVagine · 13/01/2026 17:40

I had to report them as spam.

downunder50 · 13/01/2026 17:41

They don't want people leaving - the more people they can say are on here the more lucrative the advertising deals.

peacefulpeach · 13/01/2026 17:42

You could get yourself reported / banned?

KellyMumsnet · 14/01/2026 09:23

Hi there @Wakcor. We should be able to help with this. When you say 'unsubscribe' are you wanting to stop getting newsletters etc or do you want to deregister your whole account?

KellyMumsnet · 14/01/2026 09:38

We have now unsubscribed you from all newsletters but if you also want us to deregister your account just let us know here and we can get that sorted for you.

We also withdrew your message on the other thread on Site Stuff. It included your email address and we just didn't want you getting any unwanted emails from elsewhere too! Hope you don't mind.

chercolnlou · 19/05/2026 14:54

Lease unsubscribe me from absolutely everything. I do not want to be part of of a network that makes it so difficult to leave. I don't agree with being held prisoner. Leaving and unsubscribing should be simple not complicated.

KellyMumsnet · 20/05/2026 09:32

We've deregistered you now @chercolnlou

PinoirNot · 21/05/2026 11:45

deregister me as well please. I’ve had enough of this place and the way you actively encourage people to be as nasty as possible. Not to mention your founder asking for naked photos of teenagers.

This site has fallen so far.

Actually. Before you do that. Make sure you delete ALL of my data on this site.

Absolutely ALL of it.

@PinoirNot Not to mention your founder asking for naked photos of teenagers.

What the what now? Who?

I did an AS, and I think they are referring to this thread. I have to agree with the consensus about the three naked girls.

Edit because I forgot the link 🙄

NoCommentingFromNowOn · 21/05/2026 12:45

@INeedAnotherName thanks for that, im actually quite gobsmacked.

I wonder if anyone away from the (I think) niche areas of Mumsnet that site stuff and Mumsnet campaigns are has seen this request?

Hi @PinoirNot

Just so you know, you're able to deregister your own account or we can do it for you. When an account is deregistered, all associated data is automatically removed. If you email us at [email protected] (or report your post on this thread) we can explain the process.

Hi Jo, I’m just wondering if you had anything to say about the rest of that posters comments re the naked photos?

Hi @NoCommentingFromNowOn

Justine has responded to questions being raised on the thread that was linked to, and has reiterated that we're taking on board any feedback as we develop the campaign. If you have any further comments, please feel free to post them on the thread which we're continuing to monitor.

Thank you for your response. In fairness to me, the last response from anyone from Mumsnet was six days ago and there have been (I think) 63 responses by concerned Mumsnetters since then.

I am pleased to see you are ‘taking on board any feedback’ as you ‘develop the campaign’.

I am sure you are on top of things 🙂.

Thank you, yes I want you to please do it for me. I want every post I’ve ever made, every thread I’ve ever started, all of it gone. I want it to be as though I was never here. When Mumsnet have their inevitable data leak and all the email addresses you have get sold off, I don’t want ANY of my data in it.

And I certainly don’t want my details mixed in with the paedophiles and the perverts that you’re allowing to take over this site.

JoMumsnet · 22/05/2026 12:41

This is just to confirm that we've deregistered your account, PinoirNot, and have responded to the email you sent.

I can see 32 posts of hers. Are people not able to have all their posts deleted any more then? I’ve seen other people have everything deleted.
