FFS Mumsnet; are you really this desperate to get advertising???? Ad says it's sponsored by MN

@CoconutQueen I think you may have mistaken MNHQ as a benevolent entity.

Like any business, it is ALL about the money, surely?

TheHumanRepresentative · 11/01/2026 18:01

Can't get worked up over that. Didn't Mumsnet have their own vibrator collaboration a while back?

KellyMumsnet · 12/01/2026 09:14

Morning, @CoconutQueen. It sounds like this is a sponsored page, but we need a bit more information before we can look at it really. Could you let us know whether there were a particular company mentioned? And if you see it again, if you could post a screenshot here we'll happily have a look and make sure the ad or editorial page is behaving as it should. Thanks!

At least you can actually close the Lovehoney ones down unlike the Ann Summers ones that have no close function - you just have to stare at a women's naked buttocks until it eventually disappears (it often follows you down the page if you're wondering why I don't just scroll!). I keep telling the feedback that I find the ads inappropriate but it's still appearing....sigh.
Don't expect any sympathy from the likes of Kelly. She and MN expect YOU to understand that the ads are general interest and not in any way offensive...or just pay not to see them you tight-fisted bitches!!!!
Oh for the glory days of January 2025 when MN said that all ads would be appropriate and inoffensive and that we'd have a say over what we see from AD-mageddon Month last year.

While we're at it - why are McDonalds ads still appearing showing the UPF/banned foods (and being eaten) on the stupid bottom slider ad @KellyMumsnet?
No I'm not doing your job for you and telling you where it appears etc - it's on every page so use your own eyeballs 👀
