Site freezing

I'm accessing mn on an android phone via Chrome
I'm finding that after a few posts on a thread the site is freezing completely and the only way I can get out of it is to close that Chrome window and reopen the site on another one. It doesn't happen when I just look at thread titles only when I start to read a thread. I don't know why
I'm also sometimes getting a large blank space when it freezes. Is it an advert trying to load?

Same. Really f**king annoying. Been driving me mad for days.

Have you checked chrome is up to date, they did some updates last week

Morning, everyone. Just a quick update on this.

We have carried out a huge amount of real-world testing and dug into performance logs and browser behaviour across different devices, browsers, connection types and browsing styles to try to figure out the most likely causes.

Based on what we now know, we have been testing improvements but sadly we've not pinned down the issue yet, although we have definitely narrowed down the most likely causes.

We are continuing to run targeted fixes - thanks to everyone who has shared recordings, screenshots and reports - we promise to keep you updated on our progress.

Happens on my iPad but not on my
iPhone.
Maddening.
