I posted an update and a gofundme link for Adriana Smith’s baby Chance and it was rejected. Is there any way I can post it so that it will be allowed? I thought people might like to contribute a couple of quid as a Christmas offering. Am I missing something?

Hi OP

We only work with registered charities on issues like this, so we're afraid we won’t be able to host any crowdfunder. We adopted this policy at the request of Mumsnet users, who feel reassured by the involvement of a registered charity. Sorry to be disappointing - it’s a bit of a blanket rule for us.

Here’s the relevant section of our Talk guidelines:
“We only allow fundraising for registered charities to be promoted on our Talk boards…”

We’re sorry we can’t be more help, but we wish you the best of luck with it.

Ah, right. I understand. Makes sense. Can I say there is a crowd finder if people look for it?

If it's reported, it may well get removed - users tend to report fundraising quite quicky.
