Report thread Big Issue Sellers - Racist

The original poster is not doing anything wrong but many of the other posters have posted racist comments. There is considerable references to Roma and people who are foreigners. It’s unbelievably unpleasant.

I’m not sure if it’s racism to point out that big issue sellers seem to be mostly Roma people who are picked up every night by what look like gang masters.

ive seen it happen in my small town many times.

We generally aim to allow discussion of real-world issues, including the exploitation of Big Issue sellers. But posts that generalise or imply criminality based on ethnicity would break our guidelines. We're looking through the thread now but please do report any posts you have concerns about.

I didn't read the whole thread, but fwiw I don't think it is racist to point out facts.
