the amount of ads, the constantly changing layout.. it’s just horrible now. The feel of the site is horrible! And it’s changed yet again! To … even more horrible! I hardly come on here anymore. It’s just really un enjoyable now

Completely. 100% agree. This is meant ro be my relaxing place. Its not any more. It hurts my head with the constant flashing ads. After 18 years I am sad to say I am thinking of leaving.

Use the app? Unobtrusive ads, all works well.

Rather than pay £2.99 a month for something that's brought you 18 years of entertainment?

I was on here years ago but left because of being bullied.
Im back and its worse now with the new layout the adds the people.
Even the some threads are boring now, most of them are made up over exaggerated.
The double standards is shameful.
And the word SEN is used almost as an excuse on here.

Its not entertainment anymore its become a pit.
And no way would i pay £2.99 just to get flamed because i have a different opinion.

Not now with that phone ad flashing all over the place. I’ve had to stop using it which is annoying because I prefer it but c’est la vie

Just use DuckDuckGo.No horrible flashing adds and no millions of cookies that make your phone heat up so much it’s flashing a warning.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

To help us understand better, could you tell us a bit more about what specifically feels “horrible” to you? For example, is it certain types of ads, particular layout changes, or issues with navigation or readability? Any examples you can give would be really helpful in understanding what’s working well and what isn’t.

We’ve recently made some changes aimed at reducing issues like crashing and freezing. As Mumsnet is funded by ads, they’re a necessary part of keeping the site running, but they should never stop you from reading or posting. If you are experiencing that, please let us know. It's also very helpful if you share a screen grab or recording of the offending ad.

We really value your feedback, so please do continue sharing your thoughts here as it genuinely helps guide our decisions.

It's awful, the worst I've seen it for years (intrusive ads). The current two huge White Stuff ads, with the two models glaring at me constantly, are especially annoying. It's the size of the ads that annoy me but I get that WS would have paid you a ton of money and I know you need to make money, but surely there's less intrusive ways to make profit in terms of collaborations and partnerships? The moving ads are distracting as are the ads with video clips.
