Do we really have to look at images of very young girls wearing very little?

The images on this Temu ad are almost pornographic and the models look like they're children.
Hmm
Surely Mumsnet didn't approve these?

Yuk here's another one.
This is just wank fodder for pervy men IMO.

Some rubbish altering gone on there.

LilyMumsnet · 17/11/2025 17:37

Hi OP,

Thanks very much for flagging this. We’re looking into these adverts now to get a clearer picture of what’s going on. From what we can see in the screenshots, these look to be AdChoices placements rather than in-house ads, so they aren’t directly selected or approved by Mumsnet.

We'll be back with an update soon. In the meantime, you can adjust your own AdChoices preferences by clicking the small “AdChoices” icon usually found in the corner of the advert - this should let you refine what types of ads you see.

How do they look like children? 🥴 They don't look pornographic at all, they're just short skirts and dresses.

Namechange29383929383 · 17/11/2025 17:57

Those all look like adult women in skirts and dresses to me? What is so horrifying about this? Confused

MummytoE · 17/11/2025 17:59

What one is meant to look like a child? I'm confused

All of them

All of them

Well none of them do. Perhaps you have a warped idea of what a child looks like. They are all fully grown women

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 17/11/2025 18:20

All of them

Even the ones with large breasts? 🤔 I've never seen any child looking like any of these images.

Thanks, everyone. We are tracking these ads down and will block them. Please share screenshots if you see further ads similar to these ones.

Why? They're not pornographic or offensive in the slightest.

Gingernaut · 19/11/2025 08:30

This is the sort of 'kiddy sized' clothing that appears in some 'barely legal' porn films

The women are small enough to have childish proportions

HowardTJMoon · 19/11/2025 08:59

Mumsnet's response decoded:

"For years we've known that the shitty ad networks we voluntarily choose to use have been feeding us inappropriate ads, outright scams, browser hijacks, viruses and other malware. Despite that we have made the business decision to continue using them because they give us money and that money is more valuable to us than you are. Hell, we won't even let you block them! lol Biscuit"
