Issue with posting/reacting on the desktop website version?

SilenceInside · 14/11/2025 11:10

Is anyone else having an issue with posting or reacting on the desktop website version of MN? My posts just hang with the Post button spinning and it never actually posts. Same for the React icon. Both on Chrome and Firefox, on Windows.

The iOS app seems ok though.

MarmaladeMarxist · 14/11/2025 11:28

Oh I can post again!

JoMumsnet · 14/11/2025 11:31

Thanks for alerting us to this. Glad things are working okay again for you now, @SilenceInside

For those who are still having problems, please can you try clearing your cache and seeing if that solves things.

I was having problems earlier - in fact tried to post here but it wouldn't let me. Is clearing your cache just deleting your history?

In Chrome, you can click on the three vertical dots top right of the browser, and then choose Delete Browsing Data. On the screen that pops up, you can choose what to delete, and you can tick Cached Images and Files. I would untick things like your Browsing History as you don't need to delete that.
