HELP - how do I get mnet to remember my new password in talk?

I've just changed my password on mnet and now whenever I try to post it tells me my password and nickname don't match. It seems to be remembering my old password not the new one. It's driving me mad. Please help preserve my sanity!

Still no luck here
I've tried logging out and back in, my registration details show my new password but the talk section still remembers my old one. Sanity now hanging by a thread!
Is there anyone out there??

Try clearing your cache - not sure how you would do that on pc, but reckon your password has been saved on your computer. Will get oh tecchy one to advise on here in a bit!

Good Afternoon HM,

Which browser are you using?

HonorMatopoeia · 09/06/2008 12:55

I have a feeling we've just changed to firefox tech.

To clear the Cache in Firefox on Windows:
From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data, and then choose Cache.

To clear the Cache in Firefox on Mac:
From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data, make sure Cache is ticked and click Clear Private Data.

Now when you go back to Mumsnet.com and log in, your computer will remember the new account details and not the old ones.

Ok, have tried doing this, logging out and logging back in. I've tried it and closed internet down then put it all on again. . . .So far no good, but I will persevere!
