Have started another thread in Health until sorted.

ShinyPinkShoes · 06/06/2008 12:26

Apparently it's quite tricky for threads to accept more than 1001 posts but MN are working on it.

New thread Here

Thanks NAB x

MONKEYMONKEY · 06/06/2008 12:29

I think NAB has set up a new one.
I thought it was being kept open too Buda

Buda · 06/06/2008 12:29

Maybe we should keep the other thread closed then to save confusion??

OP posts:
ShinyPinkShoes · 06/06/2008 12:30

MN were trying to keep it open and I think Tech has been working on it but it's quite a tricky job apparently.

Got it & replied x

To change the acceptance of more than 1000 messages on a thread would require releasing a new build of the software. This in turn would require shutting Mumsnet down for a few minutes, which is never very popular, least of all at lunchtime on a Friday.

Instead I've put a link to the new thread at the bottom of the old one. It's red and in bold, so it would be hard to miss it.

ShinyPinkShoes · 06/06/2008 13:37

Tech- can't see the link on the old thread?

Oh I see what you mean.

It's at the end of the last post.
