It says my posting has been paused as I have made too many posts! FFS, I’m hardly prolific. And it was an innocuous post about Christmas food in the 1970s

We have an automatic pause-posting feature in place that kicks in when someone posts multiple times in a short space of time. It's usually spammers who post in this way so it doesn't tend to affect most Mumsnetters, but we're sorry if occasionally it catches out genuine members of the site, as it did with you last night.

Your ability to post would have been restored fairly quickly, but we're sorry for any inconvenience caused. We do think it's a useful tool in the fight against the seemingly endless supply of spam.

It resulted in multiple duplicate posts on the same thread, so clearly I could post, it was just telling me I couldn’t!
