Mumsnet on App keeps failing

I’m on an iPhone using iOS 18.6.2. Almost without fail now, every time I respond to a post, MN stops working.

After making my response, I go back to the home page but when I try to open another post, I just get a whirling ‘Waiting’ icon and the post never loads.

The only solution I’ve found is to delete the MN app and then re-install it - but I’m now doing this at least once a day.

The app is working fine for me. Also on iPhone although it’s iOS 26

Yes it's also working fine for me - I'm also on an iPhone on iOS 26. Can you update iOS OP?

Sorry for the delay here. This sounds really frustrating.

Could you please let us know the model of iphone you're using? We're not aware of a wider issue here, so we'll need some more information. When it fails, are you on wifi or data?

I’m on an iPhone 15. It’s only happening after I’ve replied to a post. I get the feeling it’s only happening when I’ve written my reply, clicked ‘Post’ and then maybe exited the thread immediately back to the main screen before waiting for my response to be added to the end of the thread… Will test that now…

Yep, just tested it and that’s what’s happening.

@GingerPaste Could you please let us know if you're on wifi or phone data when this happens? If you could also share what version of the app you're using along with a screenshot of it happening, that would be really helpful. Thank you.
