Zoomed advert filling screen

I struggled to even open this thread, a hugely magnified rolling as keeps popping up and filling the screen, and is very sticky. I'm on a Google pixel not using the app, going to try deleting cookies.

I'm getting exactly the same today.
Two threads I've tried to read have literally been unreadable. I've tried multiple times to reopen them and the same thing happens: a massive white advert covering the whole screen with no way of closing it.

What a shame for the OP's taking the trouble to start threads and then other MNers can't even read them let alone comment on them.

Me, too. I can't even tell you what the ad is for, as it's too big to display on my phone. I think it's for holidays.

Also on pixel, latest android version, using chrome browser.

I've had the same with something to do with prostate cancer. Also on a pixel and chrome.

The site is completely unreadable when the ads do this.

Mine was something to do with Arden?

I think mine was Elizabeth Arden, but it changed to something about training.

Can't actually scroll anywhere as it fills the screen (Android), anf have to reload the page.

Only get through a few posts before it appears again.

Utterly infuriating.

It did it whilst trying to post this! Thankfully working on second attempt.

Please fix, it's really irritating and impacts the use of the site.

Me too. Can't read anything. Incredibly frustrating. I took screenshots but they just appear as plain white.

It's still happing ( 10.35pm ) 4 times so far just on thiscthread . It's impossible to get past .

Still happening to me. It goes away when I turn ad blocker on. But then I get the “Mumsnet needs ads” pop ups instead 🤨. So it’s pick your poison currently.

Still happening! Why cant the ads be fully removed until you find the fault?
