Blocked threads still showing up

I have messaged about this before. Have been on the site for 20 odd years (renewed acct recently), have premium too but am being driven nuts with blocked threads still appearing. Today they are also in trending - ones I blocked weeks ago and it is so annoying. @mumsnet please can you advise??

Just wanted to double check are these threads you've clicked 'hide' on? Rather than whole topics you have hidden? Just didn't want to assume.

It would be useful to know exactly which threads you've hidden and which have popped back up again, but rather than do that publicly, perhaps you could hit the report button on your post here and we can then discuss it with you off the boards and hopefully get the problem sorted.

This happens to me too @Screwyoudavid and @HebeMumsnet I block a thread and it's still there when I refresh and go on and off various threads. It's there for a while, no matter how many times I refresh.

But then when I leave the site, put down my laptop lid, and go off for an hour or two, when I come back, it's not visible anymore. Are yours not disappearing at all - like ever?

Same here. I hit hide, but they reappear after one of those annoying reloading and back to the top of the thread messages. Seems to have something to do with adverts starting to load.

@LilyMumsnet These are hidden posts not topics. Still happening just now. mainly in trending but ones I hid a while ago. It is really annoying and only seems to have happened since the update I think.

@LikeWhoUsesTypewritersAnyway Mine sometimes don't go at all or others I have hidden weeks ago are now popping back up. Have been on here 20 odd years and have never had this problem I had tens of thousands of blocked posts on my old account over that time.

OP, could you just let us know what device and browser you're using?

@LilyMumsnet Yes MacBook Air via Chrome. Still doing it now in trending "upset with long time friends" hidden earlier and now there again!
