Please stop allowing full screen adverts. It’s not a one off i’ve seen them many times before. The adverts are bad enough that take partial screens, or lag the screen. But these, It takes up the full screen of my iphone16 bar the address bar at the top, oh and another advert!

It’s a different company now so you must be aware of the size because it’s been going on weeks. The multiple adverts including video ones per thread are really spoiling the site.

Todays was on the school dinners thread.

I should add after reading another post and replies, that i can scroll down or click the x and it comes back anyway. It’s appearing on multiple pages and even the section menus.

There's a long running thread about this. They know. They don't care.

MidnightPatrol · 11/10/2025 07:11

I agree, these are starting to annoy me too.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot @PrioritisePleasure24 - we're taking a look at this now.

Thanks everyone for reporting this. We think we’ve identified the culprit and have flagged it with our ad partner, who are treating it as a priority. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get sorted.

We really appreciate your patience as we know how irritating this is and we’re very sorry for the hassle.

PrioritisePleasure24 · 14/10/2025 04:27

Yeah i’m still getting the cross country full screen add on various pages. I scroll passed and it comes back further down.

There’s more adverts than posts on the pages these days. Some video, some still but its jot making a good experience tbh.

Also noted how many other posts there are complaining about this.
