Bar at the bottom floating randomly up whilst scrolling

Since updating my iPhone the bar at the base of the screen (‘Active’ ‘Watching’ etc) gets unrooted and floats up and down the screen whilst scrolling, which is distracting and annoying! Can we get a fix for this please? Thanks.

Mine’s been doing this the last week or so too.

Thanks for flagging this to us - it sounds very frustrating. We're taking a look now and may be back with a few questions if we can't replicate this.

@TheSlantedOwl @JJZ It sounds like you're both on iOS 26 which is the latest release from Apple.

Unfortunately, there are some Safari bugs that are causing this that aren't resolvable by us at the moment - it's affecting all sites where there is a fixed bottom bar.

What I can say is that swiping up and holding from the bottom of your device, and then force quitting Safari by swiping the Safari (or Chrome) window upwards and then relaunching the browser will temporarily resolve the problem.

It's not ideal - I understand that - but right now until iOS 26.1 is released (which should be imminent), there's nothing we can do about this.

@Darragon I don't believe you're on iOS 26, so it would be really useful to see some screenshots of what you're seeing. Would you be able to send some over please?

I am also having issues with the blue bar , mine is it dissappear to quickly.
I know you are testing it so it dissappear when we scroll down but reappears when we scroll up however unless I am right at the top of the page it vanishs within a second or less , it doesn't matter whether it's the home page , list of post on any topic or halfway through a thread I am posting on.

It only stays there if I am at the very top of the page.

Edited to say I got the scroll up and down the wrong way round .

MN is running slower than a wet week though!

And still no updates or even a 'we are looking into it' reply.
