Flowers

Could we please add a flowers emoji to the three we have with the react button.

The heart one is tricky as, if someone is relaying a terrible story, you may wish to send love, but it could be misconstrued as you loving that something terrible happened to them.

I think flowers would be a better option for those situations. I know that I would have used it many times today had it been available.

I think that's a really good idea OP.
It would be helpful to have one that conveyed sympathy for a really sad post or one where the poster was going through a difficult situation.

Please do this. I have the exact same issue, wanting to express love and sympathy but none of the react buttons are appropriate. Don't want to clutter up thread with an actual post if I haven't got anything meaningful to say.
This would genuinely add something useful and valuable to mumsnet, imagine being upset about something and receiving lots of virtual flowers and knowing that lots of people had read your post and were sending love and sympathy and empathy?
Thanks @considertheravens for putting this forward. 🌻 Have a wee sunflower!
