can you please advise if it is ok for two individuals from different families to share a mumsnet account?

or is that considered to be against the guidelines?

thanks!

Why? This isn't Netflix, accounts are free....

Protosaber · 30/09/2025 10:01

Hello @Protosaber we don’t have a strict rule against it, but we generally wouldn’t advise sharing an account because it can create confusion, particularly if posting styles or opinions differ. Registration for a Mumsnet account is free, so it’s usually best for each individual to have their own account.
Is there a specific reason you’re asking about this?

Protosaber · 30/09/2025 11:32

Thanks for confirming.

It’s probably a Premium (paid for) account they want to share. It’s the only reason I can think of.
