Peugeot Advert Keeps Popping Up

Hi there, not sure if you are aware but on pages that feature the Peugeot Ad, it keeps filling the screen, even though you have no clicked on it... I can be happily reading a thread and wham, it is fully across my screen. This is on my laptop... is there a way to dissuade it from doing this?

OK... I am obviously being targeted by cars, this Fiat ad just popped up as I was reading this thread.... I promise I did not click on the ad, it happened as I was scrolling down the thread - https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/amibeingunreasonable/5419162-school-withholding-snack-as-punishment
