This is an odd one. I just have the impression that multiple times in the last week, stuff doesn't match up or doesn't show up. But because stuff seems to have disappeared, it's hard to be sure. Here are some examples:
- A thread I'm expecting traffic on doesn't show up in my Notifications, but when I immediately go to it via another route, there are new posts on it which should have put it into my Notifications.
- Notifications shows me that on the same board, there are (a) 2 new threads & (b) new posts on a thread I'm watching. I click on the new threads one first, check those out & don't touch the thread with new posts because I want to go directly to the new posts in it; so I go back to Notifications - & the one telling me about the new posts has disappeared.
- I go to a board & a popular thread isn't showing in the list. I look up & down the list a couple of times & can't see it. Going down the start of the list, I soon find that the threads that are showing have last posts made on previous days, & I know that's not true of the thread I'm searching for. I find the thread I'm looking for using 'I'm on' or similar, & there it is: it still exists & its most recent posts were made after the ones that did appear in the list.
I'm just putting it here in case this stuff is happening to anyone else. MN used to be rock solid on this sort of thing - for me, anwyay.
