Threads not hiding

Yet again, if I comment on a thread and then hide it, I still get notifications. So I tried removing the thread and I’m still getting notifications. So now I’m having to remove and hide a thread to stop notifications.

To be sure of not getting further notifications you'll need to 'unwatch' the thread so it no longer appears in your watched items.

For the future, if you want to be able to go back to a thread and find it easily but not get notifications, you can either bookmark or 'save' the thread.

@HebeMumsnet Is there a way to unwatch threads from Notifications, or do I have to go to each thread individually? What are the red buttons for in Notifications, as they seem purely decorative?
