Only getting first post of thread after allowing ads

I really like MN but it is now practically unusable for me. Apart from the adverts being very distracting, I can't even read a full thread anymore. I'm on Safari on MacBook Air.

In addition to the above, some of the posts I read open in a new window in black and white mode, a bit like a word document.

Hi there @TheUnquestionedAnswer. Could you possibly post any screenshots of these issues so we can see exactly what you're seeing? Both the 'black and white mode' thing and also what you're seeing when you can't see a full thread.

And are the threads just not loading properly or are they freezing once you're in them? Any more detail you can give us would be great in trying to work out what's happening here.

I’ve opted in, my feed shows all the ads on the side bar and interspersed with the text/responses. But I still get a prompt telling me to accept ads after about four pages. When I click on the accept ads, it takes me to an ‘ad blocker’ which wants me to modify my system settings, well, no.

Admiral , whomsoever they may be , are not getting that sort of access. If I have to leave after four pages ( thus depriving you of the ad revenue for the rest of the thread/ hour) so be it.
