There are at least two thread OPs more than 15 years old and closed to new messages in the front page. Why? (and how?)

They seem to able to dig up ancient threads without posting on them, which is disturbing. I don't like disrupters with superpowers.

I noticed that too. Threads where the most recent post is sometime in the 2010s…
