sorry, annoying small thing but the threads in "threads I'm on" are all showing up as read, even when they're not

Up to this week, the thread headers in "threads I'm on" would show up as purple if I'd read them, and blue if someone new had posted since I last read them.

This doesn't happen any more - they are purple all the time - how come?

It's no biggy but it was handy being able to see at a glance if they'd been updated since I last looked.

Can one of you nice techs make it happen again??

You know, mine do that too. I thought it was a PC problem. I ran my cleaner and stuff, but its still happening...

Is this a side effect of the new emoticon test??

It was nothing to do with the emoticon change, no! As I mention on the other thread, it's not really 'broken' so I am not sure we will ever fix it. What I'd like to do is see how many people are still finding it annoying in a month or so; if lots of people still find it a pain then we will have a look at what we can do as a workaround. Hope that's okay.
