Search not working properly

I am increasingly struggling to find anything I have posted. When I get a notification if I click on it (eg someone has responded to a post) it doesn't take me to the post, or even to the right page on the thread. Same with the Advanced Search, I have tried searching in there but when you click on the post it takes you to a random place in the thread.

It didn't used to be like this! Is there any chance it could be fixed?

Also the links from email notifications do the same thing

There are two different issues here. The first (being taken to the wrong place in a thread from notifications) is one we're aware of and we actually think we have a fix now so that should improve very soon.

The problem with 'find by username' we're not sure about. Could you tell us any more? If possible a screenshot of what you're searching for and what's coming up would be really useful and we'll see if we can work out what's going wrong.

In the search bar at the top if I search by username oldiebutbaddie in the last week apparently I have no posts

Even if I type in a word I have posted and search by my user name nothing comes up

eg this - I have typed the word monitor on this thread
