Ads on top of others

For the last few days, I keep getting ads pop up on top of others. As if the flashing/moving adverts aren't already enough! Is this a corruption or the new norm?

Yes, I have a thin rectangular block of advertising space at the top of my iphone (when I’m on MN), which is now being superimposed with those intensely annoying noisy/moving rectangles advertising all sorts of bullshit.

Both advertisers are being conned, but not as much as MN posters are.

My phone is constantly glitching and the ads drive me mad! Also my battery is draining very very quickly. This site is becoming unusable .

I should have said that I'm using a laptop- not a phone! Edge.

Today I’ve had pop ups on top of pop ups and the X to close them not working.

Pages are again very very slow to load.

My battery is being drained on my phone so it gets very hot.

Yes, it’s making my phone hot too. This is really not a good thing,

The bar at the top now always seems to be flashing or throwing up a video or doing something to pull my attention away from the thread - I keep thinking it’s a text or WhatsApp notification, clicking out, seeing I don’t have any texts or WhatsApp’s, reopening Mumsnet and trying to find where I was 😡

If all drives me nuts. I understand Mumsnet want to make money but there a way of being discrete and classy about it, and then there’s turning your site into a tabloid newspaper…

@MNHQ- Are you able to advise please if ads on top of others are supposed to be happening?
