Quoting posters

I'm sure this will have been discussed before, so apologies. When quoting a poster from within available list, you used to be able to locate poster by typing in first few letters of name. Now, the list only shows the top 3/4 posters. It's a pain having to scroll up and find the full name to type in.

Anyone else find this or am I doing something wrong?

Are you sure you mean "quoting" There is a quote button which will then quote the entire post, including the username, and this will appear above your post.

Sounds like you mean @Dangermoo which is tagging rather than quoting.

If I type "@" I get a list of all the names that have posted on a thread and I just click the one I want. i don't have to scroll back through the thread - although this obviously only works if you know the name of who you want to @ (IYSWIM)

This is how quoting appears. I get a notification if anyone has quoted me on a thread - although I think you can turn notifications off if you prefer.

That's the one - where I want to click on a name and the options appear. I'm finding I can't scroll down past those first few options (names).

ETA: when i type @ it's only when i get first few names and cant scroll down. ive just tried it on this thread and both our names appear. If I try it on another thread, not all thread participants, show up
