Loads of 502 bad gateway errors today

Might want to check your logs. Load balancing ?

I can't properly test on other machines or browsers as everytime I go to log in, it throws a 502 error.

Some pages are still loading where I was logged in from last week.

We are guessing here but we think you are on a desktop on the main site and viewing all posts on a thread? If you change your settings to 100 posts per page we think that might solve the problem and if not have you tried clearing you cache?

Both guesses right. Have a cookie.

Also suggested action seems to have fixed it.

Is this a sign that the full thread view needs fixing ? If so will an update be posted ?

We're aware of the issue with loading lots of posts and we are in the process of making improvements to the site. We don't have a time frame for a fix, so reducing posts per-page is a workaround in the meantime.

These have started again now when I try to just load forums like AIBU.

Bad gateway and 500 error on my phone android until just now

iPad, chrome, had this problem from 5.30 pm ish until now.

It has been happening to me too. Maybe someone is trying to tell us something Jane...

I am using Chrome on a Samsung phone, mnhq. Not on the app. View 100 posts.

Yes, same here. Took me about half an hour to get Mumsnet to open. Just kept coming up 'site error'.

Same here. I can get onto stuff like site stuff but it’s taken me about 10 minutes to report this because I kept getting 502 bad gateway when I was trying to click on this thread and before that, I got a 504 internal error when I was trying to get on another thread. I’m on safari, iPad using the desktop site

Same here, only on AIBU. I am using Android phone on main website via Firefox. I have got my settings to load full posts, but this is happening even on threads that are claiming to have a very small number of posts.

very annoying, took me about 20 minutes or more to access on desk top, then i saw threads in the last hour were at 17.39 which made sense

Is the app down , it keeps timing out and asking me to swipe down to refresh the screen but nothing loads

If it helps, it looks like the ticker that says "x new posts" isn't working, as I had this page loaded, and the new posts weren't showing until I did a hard manual refresh.

My money is still on a flaky load balancer somewhere.

You guess right I am on a desktop on the main site but completey wrong on the all posts on a thread bit.

There is definitely an issue your end over and above number of posts viewed and how.

I got a "verifying you're a human" page that took ages to clear when I just came onto the site - not sure if that's linked to the other errors. Mobile site on my phone.

I also had a cloudflare check, if it helps ....

Yeah, I had that

Had the Bad Gateway message on Chrome, then when I tried again Cloudflare just wouldn't verify me. Not having the same problem in Edge.
