Separate thread for 'word games' etc - currently in Chat?

'Chat' always has a lot of 'word games' threads in it - currently the first two pages (50 posts) contain 17 separate threads none of which are really 'chat'.

There's no conversation on these threads and I'm wondering if the 'Wordle', Hardle', 'Xordle' etc threads would be better under a separate Topic - maybe Daily Puzzles?

Would also make them easier for regular posters to find.

Yes, they're really annoying.

I don’t see the other stuff on chat as I use the threads I’m on or watching.
Tell you what I find annoying … the threads that get deleted.
I don’t really do much else on here apart from the word association games.

Any further thoughts on setting up a separate topic? 😉

Seriously though, the number of 'puzzle' threads on Chat seems to be increasing daily!

I think it’s a great idea. I see them sometimes in active, but never pay attention to the topic they are in - so if I want to look for then, I’d have no idea where to start! Also, if I were looking for new games to play, that topic would be perfect.

Bumping this - 21 'puzzle' posts in Chat this morning. PLEASE put them in a separate page - I can't be the only person fed up of reading thread titles which turn out to be yet another 'non-chat' thread.
And on a practical note, it would make it SO much easier for puzzle addicts if they didn't have to trawl through real 'chat' topics to find their daily fix!

Just mark your threads as “watching”.

Bit difficult to find threads to watch when half of the first page on Chat is taken up by games threads 😂

This was first raised 4 months ago, not sure why it’s not been done yet as everyone seems to agree it’s a good thing.
