Can we have a Family History Topic, please?

Hello, MN Towers. Is there any chance of you creating a Family History topic, pretty please? There are quite a few of us interested in this subject. Neither Chat or Other Subjects seems quite the right place for it so a dedicated topic would be excellent.

I'd be interested in this too. Lots of us have enjoyed using the internet to find out more about our families to pass on to our children. It's great fun, but it is something where other peoples' input can be very helpful.

Ooh, thank you!!!! Don't think I've ever requested a Topic before!

Personally, I'd go for 'Family History' as the title but others may have different ideas.

there are plenty of topics in here already and Mumsnet is far too big as it is.

we now have a flouncers corner too which is very to me.

Put your family history in chat and put it under threads you are watching.

I think it's a great idea for a topic, I would be happy to do any searches for those without ancestry membership. It can be very interesting - I just wish I had more time to spend on it!
