Really?

A full page spread on a gambling game? Please tell me this doesn't pass your guidelines?

Hello @Kreepture thanks for posting. We do accept some advertising from high street companies, but these aren’t shown across all areas of the site and are subject to placement restrictions. We always aim to strike a balance between funding the site and being mindful of our users' concerns so thanks for your feedback - it's been noted.

Becky, this was on the talk landing page, visible to anyone and everyone who visits the site.

How on earth can a direct link to Skys Casino/gambling website be appropriate?

I get where you’re coming from, @Kreepture - when you think of the damage done to families by the gambling industry, it seems like a less than fantastic source of income for a parenting website, so I can see your point.

@Kreepture I agree. Taking revenue from gambling companies is not great. It doesn’t seem very aligned with Mumsnet.

Hopefully days are numbered for the gambling companies anyway (much tighter restrict on ads or a ban, like for smoking) and they cannot advertise like this for much longer.
