Frustratingly unable to click on a thread.

I had two replies I wanted to post for "To be so fed up amd disheartened with all the xenophobia" in AIBU. No matter what I do, clicking on Quote or Reply, nothing happens.
I'm wondering, is it because the thread is so long that it won't load?

@MsAmerica the thread has reached its 1000 post limit, no-one can add to it.

Thanks, @beetr00.

Sorry @MsAmerica we know that's frustrating. Usually, on long running threads, a second one is started so worth keeping an eye out for that.

Is that mentioned somewhere, or am I supposed to have intuited it?

I always have hated long threads, and this just confirms it.

Thanks for the information.

Thanks, but, god, no. I generally find long threads self-defeating, and since I was just trying to reply to two replies in there, I'll let it go, reluctantly.

Maybe that'll teach me to try to avoid those wild AIBU posts.

Thanks.
