Compact view option disappeared

Please can we have the option to use compact view back, when we open a topic?

Yes please - I still have the option to change back to compact view but I want that to be the default, I don't want to have to change it every time I open a new thread!

I'd like compact view as default on all threads. I don't like having to change it on some boards. Maybe if people want the other type they could have the ability to set that as default
