I am hopeless at search. I have received a pm and have no idea what it refers to. The tone is a bit obscure and I can’t tell if I am being told off

What does it say?

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 01/08/2025 19:01

Don't you know who it's from?

Benefitbettyquestion · 01/08/2025 19:02

You would need to post the content for anyone to be able to help

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 01/08/2025 19:02

OP you can just report the actual message to MN.

ohyesohyesoh · 01/08/2025 19:02

Well give us a clue then !

EmpressaurusKitty · 01/08/2025 19:05

If you’re not keen on posting the actual message here, click on the 3 dots next to it to report it to MNHQ.

If it's about your images breaching UK security guidelines, a few people have had this - MNHQ say it's a spammer.

Hi OP

We're going to respond to your email now - but we don't see anything unusual going on. Perhaps a case of mistaken identity if you didn't make the post being referred to - and it looks to be supportive. Please keep an eye out, we'll be in touch.

TimeForABreak4 · 01/08/2025 19:07

Hit search at the bottom right of the screen on this page when you scroll down. Then advanced search and put the username in by username. Have a scroll through the title of the posts they have posted on and you may see if they have posted on any of the same threads and might give you a clue.

LilyMumsnet · 01/08/2025 19:09

Hi OP

We've emailed the thread that you started - the one that the message of support was inspired by. If you have any further concerns or don't remember making the thread, please let us know.

Rictasmorticia · 01/08/2025 21:17

Thank you to those who replied. The poster has got in touch and cleared up what it was about. Her post was supportive, her comments were not aimed at me.

Glad that was cleared up.
