Butt Box Ad

Can you please get rid of that stupid advert.

I'm not a smoker, i don't need a 'butt box' pushed at me on EVERY single page i open on this website.

And no there isn't a cross or any option on it for me to make it go away, i tried.

I'm sick of seeing it.

They're appearing on EVERY thread now, sometimes 3-4 times as i scroll and there is NO option to get rid of it.

I'm an ex smoker and the sight of used cigarettes actually makes me feel sick.

Thanks for posting about this ad. We're really sorry that it's disturbing you in this way but it's not actually breaching our ad guidelines. It's a shame it doesn't have the AdChoices logo, but that isn't something we implement - it should be on all ads (so you have the option of clicking through to say that you'd rather not see a particular ad) but Google sometimes doesn't apply it.

I’ve also complained about this and it is affecting my ability to use the site.

It’s vile and disgusting and I don’t understand why it’s on every thread over and over again with no option to get rid of it.

I don’t understand why you say you can’t do anything about it - you removed the Ann Summers advert which I found much less unpleasant but which upset some people.

it's still there.. i mean, why? How long are we going to have to put up with that stupid duck?
