Why don’t bookmarks work?

I used to be able to click on a thread and it’d take me to my bookmark.

Now, if I bookmark, the thread freezes. If I try and refresh by reversing the read order (latest first), then re-reversing I’m taken back to the start of the thread, bookmark lost.

Then I might have to scroll 800 replies to get to where I was.

It’s making this site hard to use! And why don’t you automatically Capitalise the first letter of a new paragraph?

Hi there @Fordian. Thanks for getting in touch. We're aware of the issue with bookmarks not working properly and are working on a fix as we speak. As soon as there's any news on that we'll update in Site Stuff.

On the capital letter issue, we don't have fix for this as it's an issue with the third party tool that handles our text input, but we've been looking into whether there is a way round this. We'll share an update if anything changes here.

Boosting this because I am so fed up of bookmarking and it not working. Navigating threads particularly busy ones is a terrible experience which encourages me to do something else with my time. Good for me, bad for you.

On the same subject, can you tell me how to find My Bookmarks easily please?

If I add a bookmark and follow the link that pops up, they are under 'Talk > My Activity > My Bookmarks but if I go to My Activity (above Notifications on the drop-down menu the only options are 'I'm on, I started, I'm watching and Saved'
