Selecting a thread makes the OP pop up in white

Why has this started to happen, it's really annoying. I like to see the replies underneath the OP, like it used to be?

Hi, yes this is what I get when I tap on any 'active' title. Then I have to tap it again to read the thread. Very annoying. Also the App keeps buffering - every single time I use it. I have deleted it and resinstalled it several times but it doesn't make any difference. It didn't do this before the recent update. I use an iPhone 13 which again is fairly new.

It looks like you've clicked the “Reader” button.
It’s the one that looks like a printed page next to the address bar. If you click that and 'Hider reader' the thread should return to normal.
