Morning, MN, when I try to post, I keep getting a notification in red that states the above message, and asks me to select my username, but it’s already entered? Pleas help.

Hi @UseOfWeapons

We're so sorry you're having problems posting. We're aware of an issue affecting a small number of posters, where an error message pops up relating to usernames when trying to post a reply.

We’re working on a fix for this but it would help if we could have some more details about which device, browser and version of the site you're using. If you're not able to respond here, please email us on [email protected]. And if you can include a screen recording or screenshot of the error, that would be a big help.

Thanks in advance.

@JoMumsnet I've been getting this for the last few days - have tried changing user name but still getting error. Only happens for the first post on a thread. I'm using desktop on safari. Also, once it has posted, it doesn't look as though it's posted, the text still appears as if in draft. I will try to attach a screenshot.
