Mumsnet impossible to use on Safari on MacBook

My MacBook has been overheating and slowing down. I’ve narrowed the cause of this problem down to MN when opened in Safari.

I’m currently posting on my phone as MN completely unusable on my MacBook.

What is going on?!

I could use Chrome but can’t sign in on Chrome as password is saved on Safari, which is now inaccessible.

Another problem is that I set up MN profile with an email address I no longer have access to. I can’t change to my new new address as system sends email to the old one. Do I have to abandon and start again? Or is there another way?

I had a similar situation on my iMac. Every time I opened Mumsnet app Safari crashed. No idea what caused it and I just stopped using it for a week or so. When I next opened it everything was fine, Im still not sure if it was a Mac problem or Mumsnet app.

I find it next to impossible to use on Safari on my phone. The page freezes, crashes, refuses to load. Been doing this for a while.
