Another plea for a Bumsnet topic

I'm just pleading again to have a topic a bit like Sporner Corner where people can ask advice on all matter of grim bodily functions and leakages. That way I can hide it.

I was eating my breakfast this morning whilst scrolling on Mumsnet, to read a very graphic thread title that put me off eating.

Thank you

Excellent suggestion

It wouldn't stop everyone dumping anything and everything in AIBU 'for traffic'.

I'm still scarred from opening a post to see a photo of the contents of someone's sanitary towel. That was in the days before they could be blurred for people who don't want to see such disgusting things.

Hi there @TheChippendenSpook . We're always willing to consider new ideas for topics. We're not totally sure how this would work though - it feels like it encompasses threads from health, parenting and all sorts of other things and the only thing linking the threads would be photos of bodily functions?

Could you maybe tell us more (without being too graphic perhaps!) about what sort of threads you'd envisage there? We'll keep reading if anyone else wants to share their thoughts too.

From time to time you see thread titles that just make you want to throw up. Sometimes the title is innocuous enough but then there is a graphic description of something that has come out of one of their orifices.

So yeah, it would encompass some aspects of different boards so probably won't work but its just not nice to be scrolling down active and reading something that puts you off your food, such as contents of nappies, or other things down there or descriptions of things they've got coming out of them that they're worried about.

I've edited my post to say thank you for getting back to me.

This is an excellent suggestion.

I'd actually to actually see a ban on them. Nobody needs to share the contents of a sanitary towel or a nappy with strangers.
