Setting an example

In my Active feed.

Promoted by Mumsnet

Says something like : "Eating as a family sets an eg" (can't find it now to copy and paste)

What on earth does this mean? The word you want is example

Eg isn't an actual word.
Presumably it refers to e.g. but that means 'for example'

So, "Eating as a family sets a for example"?

Please change it - it looks horrible.
