Site requesting I download a file

Since yesterday, when I'm scrolling through threads I periodically get a request to download a file - screenshot attached. I'm assuming an ad is trying to push this? Firefox on Google pixel 8.

This sounds like an advert problem. Hopefully a mhhq person will see this soon but definitely do not download the file.

Hello @SpecduckularlyQuackers thanks for posting and for including the screenshot - that’s really helpful. It does sound that this may being triggered by an ad behaving in a way it shouldn’t.

We’re taking a closer look now but in the meantime, if you spot this happening again, could you let us know the exact time it occurred and, if possible, grab the URL of the thread you were on at the time along with any further screenshots? That info can really help us pinpoint and block an offending ad. Thank you.

It just happened, 22:27, while I was browsing Active Threads. I forgot to get a screenshot but the ad banner at the top was just a black box, as in the original screenshot I posted.
